Bulldawgs fall to Belton

The Copperas Cove Bulldawgs fell to 1-2 in District 12-6A Tuesday following a 82-67 loss at home against Belton.
The first half was a back and forth contest between the Dawgs and the Tigers as Warren Fleming’s 10 second-quarter points helped keep Cove in the game, according to the website godawgnation.com, resulting in a 37-37 halftime tie.
Belton pulled away from the Dawgs in the third quarter to take a 67-51 lead. The Dawgs outscored Belton 16-15 in the final quarter but it wasn’t enough as Belton won.
