A year ago, an EF-2 tornado struck Cove
A year ago, some Copperas Cove residents were still cleaning up after a tornado ripped through their neighborhood.
An EF-2 tornado touched down somewhere along Grimes Crossing Road, took off through an open field next to Big Divide Road and then hit a neighborhood near Colorado Drive.
Homes were damaged in the direct path of the tornado, of course, but many other houses suffered damage from wind and flying debris.
