Old post office at Ogletree Gap finally gets new roof
Time and nature have taken it’s toll on Copperas Cove’s oldest building in the city, the Ogletree stage stop and post office.
But some of the more serious wear and tear on the building, its roof, has now been repaired and several local history buffs are breathing a sigh of relief.
A new roof has been put on the building.
“It is fantastic that the roof has been repaired, the squeaky wheel gets the oil,” said John Gallen, facilitator for the budding new historical group in Copperas Cove. “Glad the City finally made the repairs.”
