A line of little monsters, mermaids, robots and a lot of grown-ups stood in line outside the Mayborn Science Theater last Saturday night where, despite the screams coming from inside, they eagerly waited to get their turn to walk in to the Central Texas College Haunted House, the main attraction at CTC’s Haunted House and Fall Carnival.
Kirk Spitzer and his wife Karen Spitzer came out of the other end of the haunted house after getting spooked, scared and startled and one visit seemed to be enough for them. “They had air horns and jump-outs, it was crazy, but you can’t touch them and they can’t touch you,” said Kirk Spitzer. “This was our first time but I don’t know if we’re going to do that again.”
