Immanuel Lutheran Church holds fundraiser for needed repairs
For a building that’s over a century old, the Immanuel Lutheran Church looks great.
But once you look closer, it’s easy to see she’s starting to show her age. With needed necessary upkeep and recently finding a hole in her steeple, some of the congregation got together to hold a chicken dinner fundraiser, the first of many fundraisers from the newly formed Renovation Committee, to get her back in shape.
“I came up with the idea about the chicken (dinner),” said church and Renovation Committee member Shellie Falbe. “I knew we had to do something.”
