Holy Family holds annual Fall Festival on church grounds
Over 1,000 people came to the Holy Family Catholic Church for its annual Fall Festival Saturday for a day of games that included a rock climbing wall, food, auctions and music.
Spread out along the Holy Family parking lot visitors had choices of food from barbecue to snow cones, vendors sold hand-made lace and art work and the petting zoo corner offered things that clucked and squealed. A small train full of children weaved through the people walking along the grounds or heading to the non-stop bingo game in the Holy Family Faith Formation Center
Inside the Holy Family Social Hall, the walls were lined with furniture, beauty products, decorations and other donated items. Bertha LaJennesse, a Fall Festival Committee member in charge of the auction, watched as people looked over items for the silent auction while on stage various dancer and musicians performed.
