Do we expect to succeed in life? Are we continually pushing ourselves for excellence in our jobs, schoolwork, and life in general? It is hard to expect great things will happen for us if our actions are not conducive for those expectations.

Austin – FAIR. Water lightly stained; 89 degrees; 0.68 low. Largemouth bass are slow on deep diving crankbaits, and Texas-rigged craws near boat docks, bluffs, and rocky shorelines. There is an early morning and sundown bite with topwater and chatter baits near points with drop-offs and ledges. Sunfish are good on worms and live crickets along ledges, boat docks, and brush. Catfish are fair on prepared baits and cut bait.

State and national organizations governing athletic programs such as the UIL have difficulty correcting rule violations. Governing bodies oversee thousands of school district athletic programs. It is impossible to correct all rule violations, whether violations are intentional or not. The UIL relies on local school district administrators to police their own district.
