Dozens of people turned out for a Martlin Luther King Jr. Commemoriation March Monday. The march, an annual affair, begins on South FM 116 near the intersection with Business Highway 190. The group then marches to Bible Way Missionary Baptist Church, also on South FM 116. January is School Board Recognition Month and Copperas Cove board members were recognized Tuesday for devoting their time to support public education and serve Cove’s schools. The theme this year is Rising Above.
People were at City Park Friday enjoying the 70-degree weather while it lasts. A cold front moves in tomorrow, dropping lows into the 30s and then 20s while keeping highs in the 50s and 60s. It doesn’t last long as the 70s return on Tuesday. – PHOTO BY LARRY HAUK
